IIT-JEE is the most recognized competitive exam and the best way for students to secure a seat in the top engineering institutions in the country. It consists of to exams, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced ( which is considered to be the most challenging undergraduate test internationally).
Key Facts:
JEE 2018 saw a total of 10,43739 students appearing for the entrance exam of which 1.80.331 boys and 50.693 girls cleared the exam.
JEE 2019 showed a registration of 935.741 students registered for the JEE Main according to the National Testing Agency.
Candidates will be able to apply for 31 Ws, 23 IIITs and 28 CFTIs(Centrally Funded Technical Institutes) on the basis of their JEE Main ranks.
