JEE-Main
JEE-Mains is all India level Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by CBSE for admission into National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information (IIITS) and other engineering colleges. Due to the hugeness of syllabus, the completion is become toughest in Engineering entrance examination at the undergraduate level. JEE-Main is a first step which provides a vast platform where students can secure their seats into (NITs and IIITs).
Paper Structure of JEE-Main
The paper structure of JEE-Main consists of 2 papers. Paper 1 is conducted in the morning session and paper 2 is conducted in the evening session.

- JEE-Main Paper 1
- To take admission in B.E and B. Tech courses are offered for students to take admission in various NITs, IIITs, DTU and other institutes of Engineering.
- Questions of paper 1 are related to physics, chemistry, and mathematics subject.
- The total time duration of this paper is 3 hours.
- On each right answer 4 marks will be given to the student and on each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking on the wrong question.
- Total marks of this paper are 360.
• JEE-Main Paper 2
To take admission in Architecture or Planning courses are offered at NITs, DTU, IIITs and other institutes of Engineering.
- The total time duration of this paper is 3 hours.
- Aptitude test based on 50 objective questions.
- Mathematics test based on 30 objective questions.
- Drawing test is based on the mental ability of the students. This test checks the understanding of the students.
- There is no negative marking for drawing test.
Syllabus of JEE-Main
The questions which are asked in the JEE-Main exam are quite easy but too much hard work and practice need to sit for this exam. That is why while preparation student must understand each topic related to JEE-Main paper. In JEE-Main mostly questions are taken directly from the NCERT textbooks concepts. So we can say that the paper of JEE-Main requires less logical thinking.
Important Dates for JEE-Main
- The notification date of JEE-Main exam on the official website is 20th November.
- JEE-Main application form date is 1st December.
- The last date of the application form submission is 1st January.
- Last date of application form payment is 2nd January.
- The availability of admit card is the second week the of March.
- Paper 1 and 2 offline exam date is 8th April.
- Paper 1 online exam date is 15th,16th April.
- Paper 1 result date is 30th April.
- Paper 2 result date is 31st May.
JEE-Advanced
JEE-Advanced is the second phase of JEE exam, which is conduct by IIT, s each year on the rotation basis. The IIT Joint Admission Board announced that the exam of JEE-Advanced would conduct online from the year of 2018.The syllabus of JEE-Advanced is prepared according to the (NCERT) National Council of Education Research and Training. JEE-Advanced is the toughest exam of engineering. Plenty of engineering colleges give admission based on rank wise. The students who clear the JEE-Main exam only they are allowed sitting for the JEE-Advanced exam.

Exam Pattern of JEE-Advanced
The paper pattern of JEE-Advanced is very different from JEE-Main. In JEE-Main, there are multiple choice questions answers, whereas in JEE-Advanced exam only 3 type of questions asked which are:

- Multiple-choice questions
- Match the following
Important Dates of JEE-Advanced
- The online registration of this paper starts from 2nd of May.
- The online registration will be closed on 7th of May.
- The date of availability of Admit card is 14th to 20th May.
- The paper 1 and 2 of JEE-Advanced conduct on 20th of May.
- The result declaration date is June.
JEE-Advanced Exam Pattern
There are two basic papers of JEE-Advanced in 2017 (Paper 1 and paper 2). Both of them conducted on the same date one in morning session and second in evening. The time duration of both papers was 3 hours. The question, which asked in 2017 JEE-Advanced paper, related to the comprehension, analytic and reasoning abilities. This paper had three major subjects:
