Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana which is called KVPY. It is a scholarship program in India, conducted by the department of technology, science, and government of India. Purpose of KVPY to motivate the students in research-based career and basic science. The scholarship is provided only for those students who are skillful in their work. The searches of KVPY is highly granted and motivated especially for those students who have the skillful mental capability to do something in a different way. The main purpose of this program to make sure the growth and development of the best scientific minds in India. It also offers scholarship programs grants up to the pre PH. D level just for the selected students.
Syllabus of KVPY
The syllabus of KVPY is related to the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. The syllabus of this exam is not fully prescribed for students. Questions which are given in the exam are related to the class 10th to 12th or the first year of the MS, B. SC, M. SC, B. Math, and BS.

Stages of KVPY exam process
The exam of KVPY is based on two main stages. Each stage has its own importance here we discuss both stages in detail.
Aptitude testThe test of aptitude is based on written multiple choice question answers. This test can be taken in both online and offline mode. This test is mostly conducted in the first week of November in different centers of India. All the important details related to the KVPY is uploaded on the official website of the KVPY.
Interview roundInterview round is the last and final round for selection of the students. Only those intelligent students have been chosen for final interview who passed out the Aptitude test. The interview panel totally consists of 5 to 8 members while interviewing. It is up to the students that how they understand the thing according to the level of their thinking and mental ability.
Eligibility criteria for KVPY exam
The exam of KVPY has three main streams by which this exam is being conducted SA, SX, and SB. Here we discuss the streams in detail.
SAIn SA stream candidates must need to study in science stream class 11th. And it is compulsory for the students to score minimum 75% marks in math and science subject of class 10th board. For SC, ST and PWD the minimum requirements of marks are 65%.
SXIn SX stream candidates must need to study in science stream class 12th. He should score minimum 75% marks in science and math subject.
SBIn SB candidates must study with the 1st year of the bachelor degree in science subjects. He should also score 60% marks in math and science subject of class 12th.
